Help please...no sound on Sky TV

Any idea why I have no sound on Sky TV today?
It was working fine until today.

Its definitely Sky, and not the TV.
Its not muted!
The picture is fine, the channels are all working etc

any ideas?

could your scart lead have wiggled loose somehow?

and have you tried the old switch it off at the power supply, wait 20 seconds then switch back on?

Works for some things.

turn it off and turn back on again you could try mine does this sometimes and it usually does the job

tired the old switch off technique straight away to no avail...hence this thread

all leads are fine as far as I can tell.

kids are away on holiday so I can't even blame them!

Problem solved

switching off at the plug for a 2nd time has worked!
