Can anyone recommend a decent free music player?

I've had it with itunes & apple in general. Is there anything else out there that is as user friendly as itunes?

It's not a free music player for your own tunes, but my DH likes Spotify - it's like an online radio station but you get to choose which type of music you want to listen to, and the ads are few and far between. So if you've got lots of 80s music, you can choose to listen to 80s music, or have a playlist by certain artists. I've not really used it but the music I hear from it is great, so it's got a good selection!
