Ok where's the cheapset place to get Canon inks, or if you use the recycled types, are they any good?

Haven't got a Cartridge World near me at all. Is it worth paying the extra for the proper Canon ink?

Do I really need 50/51 strength (is it worth the bit extra?), or will 40/41 be ok.

thankyou. Have never bought inks before, well not for this printer anyway, and it's about time I bit the bullet as printer has been out of use for months!

I have a cannon and the inks are so pricey.
Unfortunately I tried the generic ones you can get on ebay and although they work, they do have problems.
In the end all the problems were more of a pita than the price so I just buy the cannon made ones now.
