There should be a button on the top line, near the right hand side which says "NumLk". Press that and hopefully you will be sorted. I only know this as my cat keeps sitting on mine.

You have a number lock button pushed. On my laptop it's top row, fourth from the right.

You need to look for a button with "Num Lk" on it.

If it's a laptop, it might work if you just press it, or you might need to press another button too (normally with writing in the same colour as the text for Num Lk).

you need to press function and then numlock

you will see that the 'k' for instance has a tiny two on it in a different colour (well mine does)

then you need to find the funtion (maybe it will sayFN on it) and hold that down whiulst you press num lock

your function key is probably written in the same colour as the tiny two on the 'k' key

mine is next to my ctrl button bottom left

tis surprsing how easy it is to undersatnd what you are writing

and I am talking bollocks because you dont nee to press the function key on mine
