I drove from Liverpool to Manchester today but I also needed to pop to Boots at some point. Didn't matter which Boots, any would have done. I went to the trouble of going on Boots website this morning to choose a store in advance but could realistically only look at ones in Liverpool or ones in Manchester, not ones en route.

I've come across this before with supermarkets - want to pop in at some point on a journey and pick up a few things - but don't know where the most convenient store is so that I take the smallest detour.

Does anybody know if a website exists that can plan journeys/stops like this?

We often want to know where the nearest Tesco or Morrison's is en route to somewhere, to stop and eat - supermarket cafes are often better quality than service stations and about half the price.

Have you tried searching Google Maps?
Double click on the area you want to look at & it'll zoom in.

My satnav does it for petrol stations, places of interest, nearest food outlets and I think supermarkets. But it would be great if you could just type in boots and it woul direct you to nearest one!
