televisions we have had to use sky to get the extra channels. Have just checked Freeview.co.uk and we can now appartantly get it her. Question is how? how do i get it to work on my tv's I want to check that we can get it before cancelling Sky. This will be great if we can get freeview as it will save me £40 odd each month.

You may need an aerial upgrade to receive the digital signal especilly if it more than 10 years old.

Had a new Aerial six months ago -It receives the digital signal or so I was told.

Just need to know how to get the channels on the screen?

presume you have plugged a co-axial ariel into the tv and tried tuning it - usually through the menu function?

Er no will do that now.

you need to be in DTV (or similar) mode, not AV (ie the scart that Sky comes through).
