Two ipods, one laptop, how to transfer music

My DD is getting an ipod for her birthday and has made up a playlist from my music that she would like loaded onto it.

I have plugged her ipod into the laptop and charged it up, and have disabled the automatic synchronising so it has nothing on it.

I have also made her a playlist from my itunes library but it is stored in my itunes - how do I transfer this to her ipod? Is it possible, or should I do something else?

TIA!

have you tried displaying her playlist and just syncing that? That's how I do it with the dses ipods on my laptop, so it doesn't interfere with my stuff.
Alternatively, why not put her on the computer as a separate user (if she's not already) and her own itunes and run the thing completely separately?
