mozilla download, when Internet Explore not working...

Hi,
We have 2 laptops - and internet explore has been corrupted on both of them. One of them (dh's) has Mozilla Firefox and we're able to get online with that.
Is there any way I can 'download' Mozilla onto a removable disk (on dh's laptop) and then upload it onto my computer?

I don't see why not. Just do the usual download, directing it to the removable drive. Take the drive over to the other computer and hook it up, launch the download and VIOLA! I hope...

will it really be that simple? Okay, I'll try... once AVG has finished downloading. (More than anything I don't want to stop dh's laptop being able to get online!)
