big help needed, it's like a task. my pc is totally knackered, and throws me off ebay, but i need to look for a new pc!!

Could some kind pc literate lovely person go and look at the windows xp computers on ebay, and select one they think is worth getting.

I am interested in geting the whole kit, or just a tower.

mine is 10 yrs old is full of rubbish as can't update windows and is very very slow becuase it's an xp copy.

I'd be very grateful for any advice.

how much can you afford to spend? you could get a basic tower for about £40 (ebay item 250445006580) or a basic full system with flat screen for about £129.99 (260421078921) both good value, but fairly low spec. It depends how much space you need. Do you keep photos on the pc, music eg itunes? What do you generally use it for - is it mainly just internet access or other programs.
Generally, a good amount of RAM is 1GB and hard drive capacity of at least 80GB. eg 180370163914

thanks for that.will go check it out. I do use my pc for storing some music, mainly downloads, and some pictures. Have taekn everything off mine now tho, trying to to clean it up a bit!

I surf the web, and dd likes to play games, but the few games we have can't be supported on my pc anymore. Graphics aren't good enough.

this pc is 12gb hd!! Ram, i'm not so sure about, but its pokey!!!
