Anyone know how to set up a private group on Facebook?

I'm looking to set up a group on FB linked in to another website that I use. It's for women with fertility problems so would ideally be private on their FB page. Is it possible to set one up somehow and would others be able to see it on your 'recent activity'? Thanks

If you want one that's completely hidden on your public profile (i.e. doesn't even list that you're a member of it) you want a "Secret" group. Just specify that, rather than "Open" or "Closed", when you're creating it.
