Have got a bunch of avi's that I want to convert to DVD and burn to disc so they can be watched on dvd player.
I have got convertXtodvd software which seemed to work fine until the burning stage when it interrupted half way through and failed. So wasted disc and no dvd.
Anyone got any recommendations for any other software?

Hi there. I have used Avi2dvd and found it to be really good. It is free also so a bonus! It can take a few hours to convert a large file though.

You might want to check [http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/avi_to_dvd_avi2dvd.cfm this forum] out as it will give you as much info a you need. They are a friendly bunch also.

One tip. You might need to download the latest video codecs for whatever version of windows you use.
