itunes help please - restoring library

dh's itunes were backed up onto cd but we have already used them to restore once when our pc crashed. Have just tried to do so again now pc is fixed but it isn't recognising the cd's.

Can you only use them to restore once and if so can you re-download purchases to recover the library ?

? anyone , pc doesn't seem to recognise any audio cd so maybe it isn't just this issue

Oh dear. I had the same problem once. I found I couldn't re-buy stuff I'd already bought once.

I had to start again from scratch, but made sure I kept all my ipod stuff on a separate hard drive from the computer. This has worked for the last four years.

Seems the problemn was with the cd drive - now fixed
