I have a 30gb video ipod - it has the sad ipod icon on it but after a while that goes and you can select some of the track.
They play for a bit but then it gets stuck and will start up again a few mins later.
Not ideal I know - is it worth getting it repaired or does the sad ipod icon really mean it's finished.
Think it would cost about 70 gpb to repair.
This is my second ipod btw first one also failed to work after about two years and sold it on ebay for spares.
Perhaps worth saving up for an ipod nano.
