I am trying to get a slide to time itself and then click on after 2 minutes so that the audience can do a timed task. Have never attempted it before, only just been inspired and so have no real idea where to look to do it. Can anyone help, please?

Found it...

Right click on the slide (or the thumbnail of it)
Select "slide transition"
There's a category called 'Advance slide' and you can select 'Automatically after', and put in the time.

If you're using the same version Powerpoint as me that is...

HB's answered it
the same button also allows you to select what kind of transition you want - sliding in or not, from where etc.
Good luck.

thanks lots!!

Didn't work but... you spurred me on. My version must be different to yours but I went to animations and fiddled til i found 'advance slide' and did it. Am now feeling very smug and hope that it is appreciated tomorrow
