Does anyone know about DVD regions?

Want to send my cousins in the USA a few DVDs, but am not sure about compatibility

Hmm USA is region 1, UK and Europe are Region 2

However my DVD player from Asda, is region free so plays anything.

Just depends on the DVD player. And of course there are was to unlock DVD players I believe.

Most people in Britain have region-free players.

But in my experience this is not the case in the USA, so you're likely to be unlucky.

You can order region 1 from places like CDWOW.COM.

Of course playusa.com is fairly cheap and free postage, but ideally get it sent direct to them as you're likely to incur customs charges!
