DS has somehow replicated all my shortcuts - how can I get rid of them

If I try to delete the shortcut it tries to delete both (the original and the replica).

Any ideas?

That's not right at all. Have you tried restarting the computer?

This is on the desktop I take it?

I'm thinking that you're seeing two views of the same shortcut, but not sure how that would have come about.

Close every window you can see and reboot and see where they gets you.

Thanks onagar - have tried but I think I am going to have to delete them all one by one.
