Can't delete unsent emails in outbox?

I have two emails in my outbox which have failed to send, I think because I've attached quite a few jpeg files, so while I've managed to send the jpegs in individual emails, I can't delete the two original emails which seem to be slowing down the system. Can anyone advise please?

Can only suggest closing OE (or the PC) down and opening it again. It may still be trying to send them I suppose.

You might also try dragging them to the delete folder within OE.

Have tried shutting down and also dragging but they won't budge...any other thoughts. When I try to delete them OE says that it is trying to transmit them, so am really stuck as to what to do.

I should say M'soft Outlook rather than express, as there's a difference...isn't there? (you can tell my techy credentials from that!)

I don't have MS outlook so can't really help there. What might help is if you find the options and tell it not to automatically send. Then when you restart it it will wait for you to do something and you may be able to delete them.

Thanks onagar that did the trick - switching off the auto send - everything back on track now, so thanks v much again!

Glad that worked
