...allows multiple users to post photos to the same album? and also print photos?

As far as I understand it, most sites only allow the account holder to upload pics. I want to create a site where anyone from a family can upload and share.

Hmmm, thinking about it - I could create a FB group, I suppose?

Could you not just make one account somewhere but give the details and password to anyone you want to be able to see the photos or add to them?

Sorry i can't be more help

stealthsquiggle · 11/05/2009 11:34

..you can do that on flickr (but printing not in all countries)

I will check out Snapfish later.

You can create groups on Flickr - and keep them restricted to family/friends/invitees

ah perfect! flickr it is then

this is so that all the guests at a family wedding can upload their favourite pics and we can all choose which we want copies of - so much easier than big emails! will sort it out later, during the next bfeeding session

THANKS!

OK - I checked - You can do it on Snapfish as well - it's called 'group rooms' on there - and printing is easier than from flickr (IMHO).

good tip, SS, thanks!
was already going in circles with the whole yahoo/cookies/blah thing anyway so might try snapfisj instead...

If you are new to Snapfish, make sure you gets lots of free prints from somewhere - min 20 available.

Snapfish sucks - they are totally unreliable - we're still waiting for Christmas present photobooks ordered in November. Honestly.

If you can do it via Flikr and Photobox you'd be getting a better quality product and way better customer service.

Bear · 11/05/2009 14:22

and MN get commission from Photobox

stealthsquiggle · 11/05/2009 14:26

to hear that Bear. I have never had problems but agree that PhotoBox are good too (do they link with Flickr now? I use Flick lots for photo sharing but rarely print anything)

Bear · 11/05/2009 14:37

yup - Photobox is a Flickr partner. In either Photobox or Flickr (can't remember which) you link the accounts then you can upload and print your Flickr pics with Photobox
