It won't load, I just get a blank page

Do you mean a completely blank page or the standard not found page?

Nope, just totally blank - somewhat like my brain . I've tried typing the address into the bar instead of using shortcuts, and going vis MSN to get there but it still just gives me white space.

Well, have now discovered it opens fine in IE, it's just Firefox that's spat the dummy. Time to reboot, I think!

Can only suggest things like deleting temporary internet files (control panel - Internet options)
You can delete cookies there too which might sort it, but if you prefer not to lose them all you can go to Documents and Settings\yourname\Cookies and look for those with names like yourname@live etc and just delete those.
