Paypal question - payment from abroad possible?

Someone wants to send me some money from USA using her Mastercard and paypal.

Please can I have some gentle and simple advice on how to go about this? I have a paypal account so I guess I just give her my email address and she does the rest including paying all charges?

Also, (sorry) I havn't confirmed my bank details with paypal as it seemed to want me to set up a direct debit....will this be a problem when I try and withdraw the money?

yes just give her your emaila ddress attached to the account and she can select the send money option and follow the very very simple instructions

they like to confirm with a direct debit to check it's a real account you own

they only take money if you go over drawn or if you send an e cheque
