I need a new laptop charger. Mine has broken but they are £45 from the company that makes my laptop.

Where can I get a cheap one?

I bought a Universal one for mine in Maplins after breaking my laptops original charger. That cost £35 but I looked on Ebay after & they have them there from £10-15!!!

if you do buy one from eBay you do need to make sure both the voltage and amperage are correct - they should both be shown on the underside of your laptop. Even though you may find the wrong one will fit and seems to work it's not a good idea for more than a very brief emergency use - using one that's too high can damage your laptop and one that's too low may not be charging the battery properly.
