a few months ago I backed up the entire contents of my N95 before sending it off for repair, they couldn't fix it so sent me a replacement. 1 month later that one started playing up -fed up I bought myself a cheap phone just to use my SIM card in for texts and calls so while I'm not getting the phone I'm paying for as part of my contract I would still at least get the free texts and minutes (a lot of them).
The n95 has since vanished into the ether (I suspect DS3 may have thrown it in the bin ) complete with SIM card.
I don't want a replacement N95 - it's bee more trouble in recent months than it's worth so O2 are sending me a new SIM card.
Now the problem is that all my numbers are on my old SIM card. I don't mind entering them by hand into my "new" phone - however I can't get access to them.
It would appear the "back-up" on my computer isn't actually readable so I can't get the numbers off there to transfer.....
ermm any ideas???
