Macbook - cannot work out hyperlinks

Anyone? I have a Macbook and cannot figure out doing hyperlinks...

Do you mean doing a link to something on a post on here?

as in how to create them or how to click on them to bring you to the page they link to?

If it is to click on them to bring you to the age, it is 'Ctrl+Enter'

Sorry, no I mean that when I try and link a web site on email, it isn't underlined and hyperlinked, if that's the right terminology? It just has the text.

I just copy and paste the web address into emails. Sometimes it doesn't come up as a hyperlink on my screnn - not sure if it does when the email is received, but I figure they can just copy & paste the address into a browser if not.
