F@$£ING SKY+ box...AAARRRGGGGHHHH

Have always been a cable gal, me. A chap from Sky chipped up at our door last Satuday and wooed up with cheap installation and a £20 a month saving on our bill. so we signed up.

Box was installed on Tuesday.....all impressed with being able to pause live TV and to record stuff.

I have recorded a few episodes of In the Night Garden for DD. Tried to watch one of them this afternoon but it refuses to play. OK, need to call them to see what's up.

Watching Primeval. DS needed the loo so we paused it...cos we can....when he came back pressed play and nothing effing sodding happened. Ended up having to go back into the TV guide and finding ITV again that way.......by which time we had missed a good few minutes at what seems to have been an important bit.

Is this par for the course or have we just been sold a dodgy box? I'm very much less than impressed so far

My sky box plays up like this. Press record when you press pause, incase you press the SKY button and lose it. Switch on/off if it freezes. I hate mine.

Do we have 14 days to change our minds?

and if so will they refund any money we have paid out?

aha ladyofscoffle, but if we record it we can't seem to play it back either.....we are in a lose lose situation with it at the minute.
