anyone have any experience of this? documents written in open office ever caused any difficulties for anyone? Any advice?

I have used Open Office and had no troubles with it at all. The only thing you have to remember is that if you want to share it with somebody who is using MS Office you have to save it as as MS compatible file but this is very easy to do - there is the option when you save your document/file.

Other than that, if it very like MS Office I would say.

I heart open office. Tis fab and compatible with everything as long as you save your file as either MS or .txt.
Now does anyone know a similar 'version' of Quark Xpress?
