I installed AVG on sisters pc today, and now her internet explorer has stopped working.

Dp says the avg firewall may be blocking it .

I think you can check what it is blocking and allow it access.

Was just looking into the new version of AVG (8.5)and it seems there may be lots of bugs in it. If it's not the firewall you may want to look into getting the earlier version of AVG. At least until they get it working right. The earlier versions worked great.

If not then Avast is a good alternative.
