I tried to open a website today on my iPhone only be told that I need Flashplayer 9 to start the programme.

Any ideas? Can I put Adobe on my iPhone?

I need that on my iPod too but don't think I can! Tried to follow a download link but it wouldn't work

Apparently Apple & Adobe are 'working on it' but they've been doing that for sometime without much result. Apparently Apple don't like apps which install code on the iPhone, which is what Flash (and Java) do.
I'd paste a link to the article in the Register I was reading, but I'm writing this on my iPhone & of course that's it's other big limitation.....

I hate not being able to cut and paste. One of the very few things that I hate about my iPhone.

Apparently the new software (v3.0) due this summer includes c&p.
No news on flash/java though.
