Help please - I let DS1 (5) write an e-mail and now all my browsing settings are messed up!

When I click on anything I get a new window each time which I don't want.

When I click anywhere other than a link everything 'selects'/turns blue

and my mouse scroll wheel wont scroll

What has he done and how can I fix it please?

I am on Internet Explorer.
