If so how???? I just cannot work it out. It looks to me like you can only attach photos to e-mails, not SMS. Can this be true?

Thanks.
That sucks.
How can I have one of the fanciest phones around but not be able to do one of the most popular phone functions?

i know, we were suprised too! Like you said you can link in email, or send them to photo machine in photo shops iyswim, but not text them, no.

There's a free app to do this - search MMS photo messaging in the Apps store - but the messages cost 35p each.
I have't tried it btw - I just email pictures to people instead.

Same here I just email pics also... the MMS photo messaging app looks really good (good reviews in i-tunes)and you can use it once someone has tried to send you a picture/ multimedia message (as O2 will then give you a pin number to retrieve it which can then be used to access the MMS app). I haven't used it because I haven't got a Paypal account but I don't think 35p is too steep a price? I'm sure I've paid 50p per message before elsewhere.

Apparently you can. But I don't exactly know how. You send the picture to an email address, which is the phone number of the other mobile. I know this because my friend set it up and made me the test (I don't have the iphone). I forget the email address format, or it was I send you a picture message to an email, you find my "email" and can then send me MMS which really are emails from the iphone and picture messages on myside. (It does work)

I've got the mms app and it works really well - free to receive and 35p to send which is fairly standard I think.

No that is why a mate of mine gave hers away.
