make the web address show up in the status bar when you float the cursor over a link? Other PC does it, but my laptop doesn't and neither me or DH know how to 'turn it on'.

Would really appreciate it I like to know where I'm going when I click on links!

is your status bar on? Because mine just does it! (yeah, that was helpful tee!!)

Yes, it's on

When I actually click on the link it does show up there, as well as in the address bar at the top, but I want to know before then!

Weirdly I've realised that it's only not working on here (the site I actually need it for!)

It may not be Vista. It may be the browser. Which one are you using?

SlightlyMadScotland · 17/02/2009 21:52

Yes i suspect it is a difference in browser version rather than vista. try the options menu in your browser.
