Help - need help with netbook or laptop choices

I'm looking at getting a second mobile broadband deal as me and DH both want on net at same time. I was looking at getting another laptop but have noticed some good netbook deals. I quite like the Samsung NC10 or Compaq Mini 700. Does anyone have any experience of these and can you advise if netbook is a wise choice. I'll mainly be using it for browsing net but am used to high speed from 4GB Dual Core. Any advice gladly received.

A friend of mine has just got a Samsung netbook - I think it's the NC10. She's off sick atm, so I can't ask her about it, but she was ecstatic about it after the first weekend!

I have an acer aspire one netbook and it is fab.

The speed is as quick (if not slightly faster) than the main PC. I have stuff stored on there and haven't noticed any reduction in the speed of the interweb.

I heart it and wouldn't be without it for the world.

When you say you are "looking at getting a second mobile broadband deal", you should be able to share your existing mobile broadband connection, as log as you are in the same location.
