Im about to buy a laptop so understand I need wireless too ( I hate being a geek novice). Who would you recommend or avoid are there any good deals? Also is there much difference in a 2gb and a 3gb Im wondering should I spend the extra for a 3gb laptop?

I have a contract with "Be" for my broadband and I have been very happy with regards to the service, the speed, & their contactability. I have the 24 megabyte deal and it is around £15 per month I think.
Don't know about the other questions though - sorry.

When you say "broadband wireless" do you mean a home internet connection with a wireless router, so you can use the laptop anywhere in the house, or do you mean a mobile internet connection, so you can use the laptop anywhere with a mobile phone signal?

ah its the wireless router I need - which one would you recommend - are they cheaper on ebay?
