Arrghh, what did I break this time.

Stupid pooter keeps saying 'Internet Explorer is currenlty running with add-ons disabled'.

I don't know what that means!!! And my list of favourites wont come up. GRRR.

I swear I didn't touch ANYTHING. It was like that when I found it.

Heeeeeeeeelp me. I need my list.

1. Go to Tools/Manage add-ons and you should be able to see which ones you want & enable them

2. Get Firefox instead of IE

It wont let me click 'manage add-ons'.

Oh dear, does that mean I broke it big time?

And I have Firefox but I'm resistant to change.

OMG where is my spellcheck at the top of the page??? ARRGHH how am I to know if I spelt resistant right???

I blame Virtual Earth, I tried downloading it and then it all went broke.

Can you get to it via Internet Options/ Programs/ Manage add-ons?

I re-started my computer and it's working now.

Though my toolbar is definitely not the one I had before. Very odd.

And my favourite list is all messed up. Put itself in stupid alphabetical order. Poor Mumsnet is way down the list.

And I've still lost my spellcheck.

If I fuck about with it a bit more d'ya think I'll fix it or bugger it up a bit more?

You can drag and drop favourites so that Mumsnet is in its proper place at the top.
I have the Google toolbar, so I use its spellchecker. Can you get to the manage add-ons now? If you can you can go to Find more add ons and search for spell checker (it needs a space, it doesn't find anything for spellchecker)
