my camera keeps losing photos

Would buying a new memory card help, or is it the actual camera?

Hiya, Are you storing the photo's directly onto a card and then finding that they have dissapeared? If so the may still actually be on the card. Most cards are a solid state recording device so the pics are often still there.

If the pics are important to you you can try a program called "Recover my photo's" google and u should find. It does cost to download and use but I think it allows u to check your card 1st so u will know if its worth it. I have used this program and retrieved all the photos that my dp had deleted!! Yes they were still there!

If they are not important buying a new card has a good chance of solving the problem - but buy it from somewhere you trust and preferably a named brand.
