I need to do it on the pc, would I use excell or something like that?

Excel or some other spreadsheet could be used.
Depends on how you are going to layout a weekly planner.
You could use Word or any wordprocessing application, if say you wanted one A4 page per week, split into columns.
Excel is probably easier with regard to doing many columns.
