How do I back up my pc system???

Pc used to periodically say something like....you need to back system up? I've finally got round to buying DVD-RW but don't know what I'm supposed to do now.

What operating system do you have on your PC?

If you go into Control Panel, under systems and maintenance, there is a backup option. If you go in there, in Change Settings there's an option to change where you back up to, and also to turn automatic backup on if that's what you want (which means it'll prompt you)

If you only need to protect individual files you could try getting a web mail account and emailing them to yourself

It's so I've got "recovery discs" I think!!!! Does that make sense?
