well you could buy gift cards for yourself I suppose, if you want to keep a closer eye on what you spend or to stick to a monthly budget or something?

all those 79 pences add up!

Can I ask too - dh can't load something from bbc iplayer onto his atm. Does he need to access it via itunes ?

mysterymoniker · 04/01/2009 14:27

I subscribed to the weekly email and there's a link (every tues I think?) to a free track - sometimes they are really good

but I think if you just go to the front page of iTunes store on any given day that week's freebie is usually there somewhere

don't know about iplayer sorry, but have put bbc stuff onto ipod via itunes

mysterymoniker · 04/01/2009 14:30

have just looked, it is right in the middle of the page - 'single of the week', free

there was also something free every day for the 12 days of Christmas, you've missed most of it but can get there via this link

PersonalClown · 04/01/2009 14:38

Moss...theres an option somewhere to purchase as a shopping cart... kinda like the job lot you want.
I'll be back after I've checked my iTunes....

7digital do free mp3 downloads. I've gotten some decent stuff there! I subscribe to their newsletter which gives you a link to the current freebie, too.

retiredgoth2 · 04/01/2009 17:38

....pretty much all the BBC free podcasts are available (free!) from iTunes.

Just go into the iTunes store, and search for whatever you want (or just put in 'BBC' or 'Radio 4' or similar) and a list will appear!

...'tis easy...

It's the Dr Who prom we're after which wasn't released as a podcast originally so not on itunes store.
