he is running outlook express
he wants to send an email to every one in his address book, is there a way he can do this with out clicking on every name?

This may work... though as I don't use Outlook Express I can't try it out.

If sending the same message to several hundred contacts, then the ISP may reject some/all of the messages, due to triggering SPAM detection.
If only sending 20 or so, should be fine.
