Do I have to shut the damn pc down everytime this happens?

Often certain web pages crash (usually facebook) it wont let me close the page thats crashed, all other pages open work but very slowly, do I have to keep shutting down the whole computer or is there another way to close the page that causing problems?

If you have XP you can press Ctrl-Alt-Delete together and get the task manager box up. On the Processes tab right click any called IEXPLORE.EXE and do End Process.

If you have Windows 98 then get XP because it's much more stable and you won't get so many problems.

You might also want to scan your PC for spyware using something like Spybot since that's one possible cause.
