Trying to set parental controls, but want to allow certain websites. Can't do it and its driving me mad!

I am trying to set parental controls on the laptop. There is, however, a site that my dd wants to go on but the parental controls keep blocking it.

I have allowed the site (on the specific sites allowed bit [I'm v. technical me!]) so now it will allow the site to come up, but still won't allow her to play the games.

Arrrgghhh.

How do I overcome this without having to remove the parental controls??

Please help!

The games are probably being served from a different site which you need to allow (this is called 'white listing') as well. What is the site?

I've never heard of white listing - so is there a way around this?

the games are written in flash. having just looked up a game they are served from a site shown here www8.agame.com/mirror/flash/p/pink_eva_dressup.swf

Its that site you ie agame.com you need to add to your parental site.

How did I find this? I went to firefox ( i am on a linux laptop) and then clicked page source. I clicked on view media content and it told me the path to the flash site (swf extension was www8.agame.com/mirror/flash/p/pink_eva_dressup.swf so thats the real source of the game).

Thanks maddog for picking this up. Plonker, if you didn't follow that, you need to put 'agame.com' in your 'specific sites allowed' list.
