So, Firefox is no longer a friend of mine.
I hate the bloody thing.
I had to choose between Safari/Google Chrome and Opera.
For now I have safari.
Can I make it tell me what links are that I hover over? and can I make it show me it's loading a screen? (like firefox basically)

....I presume you are using Safari in Windows.

It shows it is loading a page by filling the address bar with a blue background, rather than in a discrete box in the bottom of the screen like Firefox.

..I can't get it to name a highlighted link, either in the Windows or Mac versions, so perhaps it doesn't!

(never noticed this previously)

...most options to customise Safari are found in 'preferences', which is at the bottom of the drop down menu from the 'Edit' tab....

Yes, Windows.
I just noticed the screen loading thing.
I really do not like no link hovering though.

...what was the problem with Firefox?

(still think Safari is the best browser for Windows, though)

Loads of issues.
It kept crashing, it was really slow, certain sites just wouldn't load etc
I like safari so far, it's quicker, cleaner almost, I just miss my link hover

I'll keep on playing, see if I can find such an option, will post it if I do!

Argh I found a way and I';ve lost it.
I highlighted a poster's name to copy and paste it and it came up with the link but I don't know what I did
