Amazon music downloads

Has anyone used them, is it easy I'm not very techy/IT minded. Or having got the hang of iTunes is it easiest to stick with them?

....prompted by this post I have just tried it out.

Seems easy enough, you are prompted to download an installer which puts the files into iTunes (or equivalent) for you, this seems to work ok.

It seems that the MP3s are not digitally rights managed, which is good (it means you can move the music without fiddling about authorising computers, which iTunes is a bugger for) and only uses MP3 format, unlike say, 7digital which uses several different ones and I have been caught out with downloads that won't play on my system.

...downside? I tried to buy four tracks from an album (I already have the rest) and it downloaded the lot. So I ended up buying a £6.99 album instead of four 79p tracks.

I will try it again, in the hope that this was a one-off error...
