Help!!! Clicked on the picture link from OJ's blanket thread and my PC has gone mad.

Any advice? Something claiming to be MS AntiSpyware 2009 has downloaded onto my PC and keeps giving me warning messages that my PC is horribly infected and I must pay to get the full version of the programme to clean up the PC. We already have McAfee, btw. How do I get rid of an unwanted programme?

It's a malware virus. We dowloaded Malwarebytes (google it) and it deleted the virus easily enough.

Downloaded the malwarebytes software which seems to have sorted it out. Thanks for your help.
