Which version of Word do you have? I think it varied between 2003 and 2007.

KatyMac · 14/12/2008 17:53

2007

Actually DH has 2003 on his laptop.....so either

Is this any help?

oggsfrog · 14/12/2008 19:54

Actually this looks better from Microsoft Office Online

oggsfrog · 14/12/2008 20:21

I've just tried making a booklet in Office 2007 and it seems easy (haven't actually printed it out).

Start new document
Click 'Page Layout' tab
Open Page Setup Dialogue Box
In the Multiple Pages list select 'Book Fold'
Select the number of pages you want
Design each page - when you come to the bottom of page 1 it will take you to next page etc.

Hope that makes sense

KatyMac · 14/12/2008 20:29

Yep that helps

But I need it in A5

I'll have a mess around

I also need to put page numbers in a footer that already has data in - I hate computers

I think I'll do it the hard way

I am about to print it out for the first time.......Gulp

OP posts:
KatyMac · 14/12/2008 21:28

Now on THIRD attempt

Bloody computer

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 15/12/2008 06:27

Any luck?

KatyMac · 15/12/2008 09:06

Eventually

I had t set the page I wrote on to A5, the page I printed on to A4 & print 2 per page - doing the very dd numbering as they system couldn't deal with A5 on A4

Stupid computer

Glad you got it sorted .
I saw your other threads and think that with the doors they'll make lovely gifts for your charges.

KatyMac · 15/12/2008 22:14

Aw thanks - the few I have given out have gone down well with the adults - whether the children 'get' the concept or not I won't know until the New Year...fingers crossed
