I cant install Adobe Flash Player - I used to have it on my computer but

I expect you are being redirected to that page due to not having any version of Flash installed, so the Update page I liked to can't update.
The get.adobe.com/flashplayer page will detect your browser type... in my case it produces:

Yes, Flash Player is free.

I cant get it to download - it keeps bringing up that page!

am watching with interest as no matter how many times I install adobe it never works, I can never look at pdf files and it is annoying.

Its maddening for me as I did have it and not its gone, like you Xmas stocking I just cant download it again.

You could try downloading the Shockwave Installer... Download

thexmasstockingmonsterofdoom - PDF is different to Flash and Shockwave.

Try downloading Adobe Reader version 8 (this is UK/US version)

If you are using Internet Explorer and still having issues, try using a different browser such as FireFox. Get FireFox
