Ideally plug in
possibly wall mounted - but easily removable

& my other question is how do you load the photos?

Where would I get one - what do I need to look out for

You can get them everywhere - there were loads half price in argis last weekend. Look around at reviews.

Don't know about wlal mountable

The easiest way to put pics on is to use a memory card. Chose one that will take the same memory card as your camera and then you can use your camera as a memory card reader to get them from your PC to your camera. - although it would be useul in terms of features to look for one that will take lots of different formats of memory card for the future

don't know about your budget but this looks reasonable and it is a known brand. The market is flooded with unknown brands in the £50 and less market.

That takes a USB - so presumably a memory stick

I can manage that

Does an AC adapter mean it plugs in? (I'm quite dim about these things)

Ideally I'd like my parents to club together & get me one - but I think I'll wait until the Jan sales & but it

It is to put in the playroom with all the children's photos on - so the mums & dads can see them

OFSTED have suggested it - but for once I think it's a nice idea

Ac adapter means that yes it plugs in...not sure how they work with a USB (I do SD cards)

I don't think you will get a better deal than that one I liked in January (there were another couple at about £50 in Argos that were reduced from £70-100. If you want a bigger 10" one though you might get a better deal in January.

KatyMac · 07/12/2008 17:31

It's more I can't afford it now.....I will get paid again in Jan

fair enough....but (unfortunately) I don't think you will get a better deal....

KatyMac · 07/12/2008 20:58

I can afford that (when I've been paid)

But Christmas means paying staff early & Christmas Bonuses....so I'm a bit broke just now

Katymac - is your computer somewhere where the parents can see it? Could you save yourself some money by just having a rolling slideshow on your computer with photos of the children on?

KatyMac · 07/12/2008 21:12

Mmm maybe

I think the babies would reach it tbh

Good idea thou' I'll have a re-organise to see if I can move stuff around

I kinda liked the idea of it being for the children too iyswim - maybe?

I was going to suggest a screensaver...but wondered about the logistics of little fingers
