any sites that would teach 8 yr old to build a website

well that's it really. Godson aged 8 nearly 9 quite techy and mathematical. Does anyone know any good sites that would teach him the basics of website design.

Dummy's Guide to HTML 4 very good at this, comes with CD-Rom if I remember rightly.

wordpress.org/ might be a bit old for him but it's free and gives the idea of putting together a website.

Other than that I suggest the best way is for him to use an Apple Computer as it comes as part of the standard package on the computer to be able to start a free website and write it yourself, attach pictures etc. It's good to then pass on details to family so they can see how everyone is doing.
