I want a guest/ visitor User Account to have access to my Media Player files. Is that possible?

All my music is on my computer - we don't have a CD played. I want my babysitter to have access to my music but not my documents or photos. I have set up a visitor account but it doesn't allow access to my music. Can I change the settings? And, if so, how?

Am on a PC with Vista.

I think what you need is to share the music folder with the guest account, but I don't have Vista to check.

Go to this page and scroll down to STEP TWO: Turn On Use Sharing Wizard.

Particularly take note of "10. To Allow a User or Group to Share this File or Folder" because you want to share with the guest account and probably best if read only access so they can't accidentally delete any.

Thanks Onager - it worked! I'd never have figured that out so I am very grateful
