I am a Wii virgin and need guidance !!!

Just about to get a Wii for Xmas for our little family ie. me, DH & DD who is 5.
First really dumb question - you don't need the internet to play it do you? Is that just if you want to play other people around the world or something??? As will probably take it up to mums over Xmas and the're not on the net.
Secondly advice needed on which games to pick - we're probably going buy this with amazon as it seems quite a good deal but along with Wii sports you also get a free gam the choice is here
The rabbid rabbits look really funny - Which would you pick ??

You don't need the internet no.

You don't need the internet to play the games unless you want to play people across the world. Wii sports is great fun and the rabid rabbits one does look good - especially if you have a wee one.
Mario Kart is very good too - you don't need the steering wheel cos you have play it using the wii-motes

Not sure about the games as we've not had ours for long - we got Mariocart with ours which my two (8 + 10) love.
