HELP HELP - I can't access MN from home. It *might* not sound like the end of the world but it is blardy annoying

I can access loads of other websites, including https ones, but get an error message saying connection refused

It has happened on at least one other site (a survey thing).

I haven't changed any settings. The other home PC also won't connect. I have tried both IE and firefox. No settings on the router would cut out MN. I am at work now.

I don't think I have done anything bad enough for MNHQ to ban my IP

Come on people - this is serious

I may have to get a life outside MN

Or work longer hours

And now DS1 may have a partially collapsed lung so I am off early

(has happened before and is not as bad as it sounds in case I sound like a heartless MN obsessive)
